The dry season from April to November is ideal, with May to September offering clear skies and cool nights. The national park is closed during the rainy season (December to March).

The treks range from moderate to challenging. Summit day is the hardest part — you climb roughly 1,000 m in the dark over loose scree. A reasonable fitness level is required; we recommend training with stairs or hills for a few weeks before you arrive.

Warm layers, a windproof jacket, sturdy hiking shoes, a headlamp, sunscreen, personal medication, and a sense of humour. We send a full packing list after booking, and gear rental is available in Senaru.

Yes. Every trekker needs a Rinjani National Park permit. We arrange all permits, entrance fees, and insurance registration for you — just send us your passport details at least 3 days before the trek.

Yes, when you trek with a licensed operator. Our guides are first-aid trained, we carry oxygen and satellite communication, check the weather daily, and adapt the itinerary whenever conditions demand it.

Absolutely. The 2D1N Crater Rim trek and our private custom treks are beginner-friendly. For summit treks we ask for a good fitness level — train for a few weeks and you will be fine.

Standard groups are capped at 6 trekkers with one guide. Private treks have the mountain to themselves, with a dedicated guide and crew for your party only.

Free rescheduling up to 7 days before your trek, and a full refund for cancellations made more than 14 days in advance. If we cancel due to weather or safety, you choose between rescheduling or a refund.
